🌸 Our Glo-Up Journey: A Letter from Tara

Dear friends,

If you’ve been with me for a while, you know that Coastal Glo has always been more than a salon — it’s been a dream, a movement, and a love letter to self-care. And like any dream worth chasing, this one has come with its share of growing pains, unexpected turns, and lessons in faith and resilience.

When I first opened our doors, I had no idea how quickly I would be leaving our little coastal haven. We laughed there, cried there, shared stories, and built something truly beautiful. But after a couple of months, it became clear that we were going to have to move — even though I didn't want to.

This season has reminded me that sometimes God hands you lemons not to sour your spirit, but to remind you that you were always meant to make something sweeter. As he always uses everything for his divine purpose. For us, that “something sweet” is our brand-new home:1 Mathews Drive, Suite 110, on Hilton Head Island.

This move isn’t just a change of address. It’s a transformation — a full-on Glo-Up. 🌿

Our new space reflects everything Coastal Glo & Co was always meant to become: a sanctuary for beauty, wellness, and community. Alongside our signature hair services, we’re expanding to include luxury nail care, esthetics, barbering, flexology, & wellness — with even more to come. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed to create a space where you can exhale, reset, and feel cared for from the inside out.

I’ve poured my heart into every inch of this space — from the soft coastal tones and warm textures to the little touches of serenity that make you feel like you’re stepping into a breath of ocean air. It’s more than a salon; it’s a reminder that even when things shift, we can bloom beautifully in the in-between.

If I’m being honest, this transition has tested my strength more than I expected. There were days I wondered if everything would fall into place — and then, somehow, it did. Because that’s what growth looks like. It’s messy, miraculous, and full of moments that remind you why you started. It tests your faith, but if you keep it -- you get to see the miracles.

So here’s to new beginnings, to making lemonade out of life’s lemons, and to the community that continues to believe in the Coastal Glo vision. Thank you for standing beside us, cheering us on, and being the heart of everything we do.
